GFI Informatique completes sale of its subsidiary
in the United Kingdom
GFI Informatique announced today the closing of the transaction to sell its subsidiary in the United Kingdom to NextiraOne for an undisclosed cash amount.
GFI Informatique has announced in 2004, its decision to focus on the markets where the group has critical mass and where it sees the best opportunities for growth, mainly in France, Spain, Portugal and Canada. GFI Informatique has demonstrated in the first half of 2005 the strong performance of these units where the group generates 80% of its revenues. This transaction reinforce the capacity of GFI Informatique to invest on these key markets.
On completion of this transaction, Jacques Tordjman, CEO of GFI Informatique declared: “ I am delighted that we have been able to conclude this transaction. Financial Calendar
GFI Informatique will publish third-quarter 2005 turnover on 8 November. Note that following the implementation of the IFRS standards the group will no longer publish quarterly earnings.
