GFI Informatique announces
a turnover of 148.8 million euros
for the first quarter 2002
With a turnover of 148.8 million euros, GFI Informatique has realized 1.6% growth mirroring the weak market and in line with the indications given during the announcement of the 2001 yearly results. Organic growth stands at 1.9%.
Results will remain steady thanks to:
- sufficient activity ratio
- intense synergy between units to optimise competency
- tight management of projects in constant progress
- rigorous cost management
- decrease in account receivables
Despite a relatively dull start to the first quarter, GFI Informatique has renewed many important contracts in France and abroad, in particular with all its larger customers (Banks and Telcos).
The outlook for the second quarter registers a continuity of affairs as shown in the first quarter; the somersaults in certain sectors such as banks and telcos offsetting the caution observed in Industry and Insurance. GFI Informatique therefore benefits from the well-balanced coverage of the large economic sectors and its strong presence in Administration and the Public Sector, both in France and abroad.
The Group has just put the finishing touches on its fourth development plan (2003-2005), intensifying its commercial action and profiting from this period to restructure the packaging of its large strategic offers (systems integration, third party acceptance, third party support, outsourcing, ERP integration) and significantly develop its outsourcing offer.
