Sustainable Development

Corporate culture and values

GFI Informatique's policy of sustainable development is based on its corporate culture and is underpinned by fundamental values such as professional expertise, team spirit and innovation. The group's approach to sustainable development is increasingly based on locking in business performance. Environmental matters are a less important issue in our sector than in the manufacturing sector as we do not produce large quantities of waste and our energy consumption is relatively limited.

Approach

Our approach is nonetheless global. As well as the usual economic criteria, our concept of Corporate Governance includes both social and environmental considerations. Our goal is to provide GFI Informatique with a sound basis for future development, without focusing solely on short-term gains at the expense of other factors.

Governance

The Group Executive Committee has integrated this Sustainable Development approach through several key undertakings, including social involvement through job management, quality management policy, customer satisfaction, territorial realities and more generally through a management approach that focuses on the medium term rather than solely on quarterly revenues and margin.

Naturally, traditional performance measurements cannot be ignored, but our Executive Committee takes into account all the other factors that enable our group to be a major player in its sector, whether at the business, social or environmental level.

All IT service firms are well aware that human capital is their main asset. GFI Informatique takes this approach even further. We place the emphasis on the excellence and motivation of our staff. Accordingly, while each employee's contribution to revenues remains essential, it is viewed in relation to his contribution at corporate level.

Moreover, our annual performance reviews enable us to gain an understanding of each staff member's motivation and interests so as to draw up a coherent career plan for the following year.

Lastly, the Group has long implemented highly pragmatic policies in terms of energy savings and the recycling of paper and computer hardware.

Labour relations

GFI Informatique is thus organised to comply with all the labour regulations applicable in France , notably corporate social responsibility regulations (RSE - responsabilité sociétale d'entreprise ).
